Job summary

SSP UK & Ireland is seeking a senior commercial finance analyst to lead process and transformation efforts, designing financial models and tools to support planning and decision-making. You will work with Sales and Labour planning, and partner with business owners on strategic projects.

You will be commercially aware with strong problem-solving skills, able to manage ambiguity and drive change across teams while delivering high-quality financial insights.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Finance Business Partnering or FP&A.
• Proven experience in financial modelling and analysis.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Demonstrate experience of supporting or delivering business change / transformation.
• Ability to simplify complex problems and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop financial models and tools to support planning and decision-making.
• Analytical and able to work with large data sets; understand cost allocation methodologies.
• Build scalable, standardised processes to improve consistency and efficiency.
• Automate manual activities where possible, improving speed and accuracy.
• Support development of dashboards and reporting to track project performance.
• Work with data and BI teams to improve access to high-quality, actionable data.
• Partner on transformation projects from concept through to delivery.
• Build robust business cases, including financial modelling and benefit tracking.
• Define clear success measures and KPIs for each initiative.
• Track delivery of benefits vs plan and provide clear visibility of outcomes.
• Constructively test assumptions and ensure initiatives deliver tangible value.
• Own and report on performance drivers, risks and opportunities.
