Job summary

Eaton Syalon Ltd is seeking a hands-on Finance Business Partner to act as the MD's finance advisor, influencing growth and strategic direction. You will own the finance function, participate in management meetings, challenge proposals, and drive high-quality financial decision-making.

In this role you’ll manage month-end, cashflow forecasting and group reporting packs, ensuring clarity and action across the business. You’ll combine rigour with commercial curiosity to turn numbers into growth.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with senior-level experience in a project-led or engineering environment.
• Proven track record in management accounting, budgeting and rolling forecasts.
• Experience presenting financial insight to non-finance stakeholders and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide MD with insight and challenge on strategy, contracts and major commercial commitments.
• Lead annual budget and quarterly forecasting cycles with a live view of P&L.
• Stress-test bids and commercial proposals for pricing, margin and risk before sign-off.
• Attend management meetings to provide financial challenge and forward-looking insight.
• Support department heads with project accounting and cost tracking.
