Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is seeking a Finance Business Partner to drive forecasting, performance analysis and commercial support across the portfolio. You will partner with leaders, shape driver-based plans, and ensure disciplined working capital and reporting.

Qualifications

Qualified or part-qualified accountant with management accounting / FP&A background.
Strong analytical skills and ability to use dashboards/BI for insight.
Proactive business partnering with curiosity and influence.
Comfort with AI-enabled drafting, summarising and validation.

Responsibilities

Forecasting and planning: maintain driver-based forecasts; identify gaps to plan and propose actions.
Performance analysis: interpret results, explain trends and leading indicators.
Commercial support: assist fee proposals, contract/margin assessments and post-deal tracking.
Working capital and controls: oversee WIP/debt hygiene via exception reporting; escalate issues.
Process improvement: identify recurring requests for automation; help define packs and data definitions.
Communication: deliver results to stakeholders with clear value messages.
Coaching: guide and develop Assistant FBPs and analysts' commercial awareness.
