Job summary

The University of Glasgow is seeking a Senior Financial Management Accountant to support leadership with budgeting, planning and financial analysis within University Services. This role focuses on delivering high-quality financial information and proactive analysis to drive informed decision-making.

You will provide expert technical support, ensure accurate monthly accounts, maintain data integrity in Agresso, and coach non-finance colleagues to enhance financial understanding and service

Qualifications

• A proven track record in management accounting within a large, complex environment.
• Experience guiding non-finance staff and stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting and planning processes with senior management.
• Oversee month-end reporting and commentaries with KPIs.
• Ensure data integrity in Agresso and perform reconciliations.
• Provide finance guidance and coaching across University Services.
