Building Safety Regulator (BSR) seeks an External Affairs Officer on a 4-month, Inside IR35 contract. Hybrid work (1–2 days in BSR offices, remainder WFH) with focus on delivering external communications and stakeholder engagement across priority policy areas.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in behaviour change communications.
• Experience using analytics, user feedback and user research to improve content.
• Proven ability to engage with key stakeholders at all levels internally and externally.
• Experience planning, coordinating and delivering stakeholder engagement activities (events, meetings, workshops, consultations).
• Strong written communication, research and content tailoring for different audiences.

Responsabilités

• Manage attendance at external events and meetings with key stakeholders, including secretariat duties for regular meetings.
• Liaise with external stakeholders and gather feedback on events' success.
• Use insights to understand priority audiences and inform communications plans.
• Collaborate with the wider communications team to support future partnerships.
• Maintain stakeholder insights, mapping and salience scores to inform strategy.
