Job summary

RX Global is seeking a strategic, commercially oriented Event Leader to own the vision, performance, and growth of a portfolio of events. You will lead high-performing teams, drive revenue growth, and ensure exceptional experiences for customers, exhibitors, and attendees, while managing onsite execution in a matrix organisation.

You will be responsible for developing show strategies, pricing, and budgets, building industry relationships, and driving continuous innovation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a collaborative environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, pricing, and profit & loss accountability.
• Ability to create and execute strategic growth plans and deliver against revenue objectives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working successfully within matrix organisations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and build business cases.
• Experience leveraging customer insights, market analysis, and competitive intelligence to drive decisions.
• Ability to foster psychological safety and promote diverse thinking in teams.
• Proven track record delivering complex events with high standards and onsite execution.

Responsibilities

• Drive top performance by leading show teams to deliver successful events.
• Own and communicate the event vision and strategy aligned with RX goals.
• Lead within a matrix structure ensuring resources support strategic goals and onsite delivery.
• Take full responsibility for event P&L, budgeting, forecasting and pricing strategies.
• Develop show strategies, sales and marketing plans, and new revenue streams.
• Build and maintain industry relationships, representing RX in the market.
• Drive product development initiatives based on customer insights and market intelligence.
• Ensure exemplary onsite delivery with strong Health and Safety standards.
