Job summary

Wotton-under-Edge Town Council is seeking an Estates Manager to lead the next phase of its estate development, ensuring buildings, green spaces and public infrastructure are managed safely and sustainably.

You will provide strategic leadership across land, buildings and public spaces, oversee capital projects and long-term asset planning, and lead the Estates Team in delivering compliant, reliable services to the community.

Qualifications

• Senior level experience in estates, facilities or asset management across multiple sites.
• Strong understanding of planned and preventative maintenance, statutory compliance and building regulations.
• Experience leading teams, managing contractors and overseeing capital or refurbishment projects.
• Experience with budgets, financial planning and value for money assessments.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to influence, advise and build relationships.

Responsibilities
