Job summary

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Head of Estates Maintenance & Compliance to lead estates maintenance and compliance across its dispersed mental health and community health estate. The post holder will be the specialist lead ensuring safe and compliant services, with accountability for budget delivery and Living Within Our Means targets.

Qualifications

• Management qualification or demonstrable management experience in estates and facilities.
• Extensive knowledge of NHS healthcare buildings, systems and management.
• Experience with budgets and leading a professional team.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex estates operations and ensure compliant standards across the Trust.
• Provide strategic direction in estates maintenance and compliance.
• Manage budgets, long-term planning and relationships with contractors.
• Produce detailed reports for the Estates leadership and Board committees.
• Lead the Estates & Facilities Compliance Team to ensure effective asset management.
