Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Strategic Asset & Estate Manager in Belfast to shape long-term estate strategies for a large portfolio. You will lead a multidisciplinary team delivering data-driven asset management, balancing sustainability with value, and aligning investment with organisational goals.

You will partner with senior stakeholders to translate asset data into strategic decisions, drive masterplanning, and oversee capital programmes while championing Net Zero and sustainable practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Building Surveying, Estate Management or related.
• Chartered membership (RICS, RIBA, CIOB or equivalent) desirable.
• Significant experience in strategic estate or asset management within complex environments.
• Proven experience delivering estate strategies and capital programmes.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical skills to translate data into strategic decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication with senior leaders.
• Experience with secure estates, justice, defence or blue-light environments.
• Knowledge of Net Zero and sustainability in estates.
• Experience with BIM, CAD and digital asset management systems.
• Experience integrating asset data into strategic estate planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of Estate, Estate Management and Asset Management Strategies.
• Develop long-term estate plans, including 10- and 15-year masterplans.
• Oversee strategic, local and asset-level management plans and annual State of the Estate Report.
• Translate asset data into investment priorities and strategies.
• Lead estate-wide masterplanning, spatial strategies and design standards for refurbishment and new build.
• Oversee early-stage project development including RIBA Stages 0–1 and business cases.
• Collaborate with PMO and project teams to transition priorities into delivery.
• Monitor estate performance through KPIs and data analytics for continuous improvement.
• Champion Net Zero, sustainability and whole-life asset management.
• Engage senior stakeholders with clear presentation of complex strategies.
• Lead, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team with technical leadership.
