Job summary

Barclays UK is seeking a Strategy & External Engagement Lead to shape customer engagement and strategic direction. You will prepare executive materials, engage regulators and industry forums, and translate strategy into actionable plans across senior leadership.

The role partners with Managing Directors and Directors, delivering compelling narratives both internally and externally, and shaping the next phase of customer strategy with a focus on financial education and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in strategy roles within financial services.
• Ability to translate strategy into clear plans and measurable outcomes.
• Experience in developing customer engagement or proposition design solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior audiences.
• Strong stakeholder management across internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Translate Barclays' strategic objectives into concrete action plans for business units.
• Develop detailed implementation roadmaps with timelines and metrics.
