Job summary

Eden Scott is partnering with a national energy infrastructure organisation to recruit a Buyer. You will manage a varied procurement portfolio across UK projects, leading end-to-end sourcing, market engagement, tender preparation, supplier evaluation and contract awards.

The role emphasizes governance, value and contract management while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience managing sourcing and procurement processes across multiple categories.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance governance with value.
• Contract management exposure and ability to build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Experience in infrastructure, utilities, energy or similarly regulated environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of procurement and supply chain activities across multiple categories.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing exercises including market engagement, tender preparation, supplier evaluation and contract award.
• Ensure compliance with internal governance and commercial objectives.
• Manage supplier relationships, contract administration, and spend analysis to improve value and resilience.
