Job Title: Strategic Energy Consultant – Energy Transition

Location: UK (Flexible / Hybrid)
Job Type: Permanent | Full-time

Overview:
Join a high-impact consultancy at the forefront of Net Zero and energy transition. We are seeking a Strategic Energy Consultant with a background in energy, infrastructure, or sustainability to lead multi-disciplinary projects, shape strategic insights, and support clients in both the private and public sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your technical and commercial expertise to one of the most important challenges of our time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of Net Zero strategies and low-carbon energy transition projects

  • Conduct techno-economic studies, feasibility assessments, and market analysis

  • Manage datasets and modelling tools to support strategic recommendations

  • Create and present reports and materials to key stakeholders and clients

  • Guide and mentor junior consultants on projects and deliverables

  • Contribute to business development, including proposal writing and client engagement

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified in Chemical or Process Engineering (or related technical field)

  • Industry experience in energy, engineering consultancy, or infrastructure investment

  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Excellent analytical thinking and ability to simplify complex topics

Desirable Experience:

  • Exposure to upstream, LNG, refining, or broader energy value chain

  • Experience in strategy consulting or financial modelling

  • MBA or equivalent business qualification (advantageous but not required)
