Job summary

Baringa is seeking consultants to managers for its Commodities and Energy Trading practice. The role focuses on shaping operating models for power trading, building trading tools, and delivering end-to-end transformations in global organizations.

Strong English and additional Nordic language skills are advantageous. Applicants should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field and up to five years’ consulting or industry experience, with a passion for energy trading and digital

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Engineering or related field.
• Experience in consulting or relevant industry roles (up to 5 years).
• Solid understanding of power markets and trading mechanisms (day-Ahead, intraday, OTC).

Responsibilities

• Shape operating models for power trading and market entry strategies.
• Develop trading tools, processes and strategies for new markets.
• Design operating models for complex global organizations across trading lifecycle.
• Embed ML/AI capabilities to mature digital architectures and trading decision support.
• Lead trading solution transformations, upgrades and product selections.
