Job summary

Michael Page Legal in Manchester is seeking an Employment Solicitor/Associate to provide expert advice on employment-related matters for businesses and individuals. The role covers contentious and non-contentious work, including tribunals, settlements, restructures and TUPE, while acting as a strategic adviser to HR leaders and boards.

You will mentor juniors, contribute to know-how and client updates, and participate in business development with marketing support.

Qualifications

• Must have 5-7 PQE in employment law.
• Experience managing own employment caseload and drafting.
• Advocacy experience welcome but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Work end-to-end on employment matters including tribunals, settlement agreements, restructures and TUPE.
• Advise HR leaders and boards with practical, solutions-led guidance.
• Mentor juniors/trainees and contribute to know-how and client updates.
• Engage in business development with support from the marketing team.
