A leading ecological consultancy is seeking an Associate Ecologist to join their Strategic Ecology team. This role focuses on delivering ecological assessments, collaborating across disciplines, and contributing to nature recovery projects. Candidates should have strong UK ecology knowledge, line management experience, and a commitment to high-quality science. The position is hybrid, based in Bristol, with a salary range of £47,000 - £59,000 FTE, plus a London allowance if applicable.

Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of the challenges facing nature recovery in the UK.
• Strong working knowledge of UK ecology (generalist or specialist).
• Experience in line management and mentoring of colleagues.

Responsabilités

• Manage and deliver ecological evidence-base assessments to achieve nature recovery.
• Develop and test innovative project methodologies founded in strong science.
• Lead strategic ecology advice to multidisciplinary project teams.
