Job summary

Arriva is seeking an experienced Early Careers & Apprenticeship Manager to lead the development, delivery and performance of early careers programmes across Arriva UK Bus operations. The role focuses on apprenticeships as the core, building pipelines to support operational, engineering and corporate priorities.

You will partner with leaders, HR, Talent Acquisition and external partners to align programmes with workforce planning and critical capability needs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading apprenticeship or early careers programmes across operational and engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of apprenticeship funding, compliance, and levy management.
• Ability to partner with leaders, HR and external partners to align programmes with workforce planning.
• Excellent stakeholder management and data-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end apprenticeship lifecycle, from attraction and recruitment to progression and governance.
• Develop and manage the early careers strategy including graduate programmes, internships and work experience.
• Monitor programme performance, coach line managers, and ensure high-quality learner experiences.
