Barclays Capital in London is seeking an experienced Product Owner to maximise value by defining a clear product vision, refining and prioritising the backlog, and aligning delivery with business goals.

You will act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and delivery teams, own the backlog, write user stories, participate in agile events, and continuously improve the product to meet customer needs.

• Ensure Product Alignment with Business Goals: driving value and contributing to the organisation’s overall strategy.
• Communicate Product Vision to Delivery Teams: articulate the product vision and goals to the delivery teams, ensuring they understand and are inspired to deliver business value.
• Create and Refine User Stories: write clear, concise user stories with detailed acceptance criteria, refining them as needed.
• Agile Events: participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• Managing the Product Backlog: create, maintain and prioritise the backlog to deliver high-value features first.
• Act as the Voice of the Customer: gather feedback from customers and end-users to improve the product.
• Acceptance Criteria Definition & Management: review and accept work ensuring features meet acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: gather requirements and align product goals with business objectives.
• Monitor Product Performance and Iterate: assess KPIs and feedback to adjust backlog and roadmap.
• Risk and Control: identify risks and coordinate with control functions to mitigate them.
