Job Description

The Strategic Development Manager (SDM) will collaborate closely with Country Management to support the development and expansion of UK & Ireland operations and assist in establishing Milestone One. Key activities include:

  • Communicating recommendations for operational strategy development, including site profile and enrollment rate optimization.
  • Identifying potential clinical trial sites and evaluating their capabilities, infrastructure, and staff qualifications.
  • Developing and maintaining a database of potential and active sites for PSI's critical therapeutic areas.
  • Creating outreach plans to engage potential sites, especially in under-developed or strategic regions.
  • Monitoring market trends, emerging therapeutic areas, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including site investigators, staff, and healthcare administrators.
  • Assessing patient enrollment challenges and opportunities to improve recruitment and retention strategies.
  • Analyzing patient enrollment data post-study to identify areas for improvement.
  • Gathering feedback from PSI Operations to support site feasibility and identification.
  • Participating in scientific conferences, meetings, and symposia to gather information, network, and understand the clinical trial landscape in the region.

Qualifications

  • Life Science Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of on-site clinical research experience.
  • Experience in clinical site identification is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
