Job summary

WSP UK is seeking a senior leader within Planning and Development to drive Scotland and national growth. The role focuses on client facing activities, technical leadership and winning work for major projects.

You will mentor colleagues, shape teams, and promote innovation while ensuring delivery excellence across civil design, infrastructure planning and related disciplines. The role offers hybrid working with UK collaboration and a focus on safety, health and quality.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in civil engineering.
• Chartered status or working towards chartership.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and highly visible leadership.
• Drive business development by embedding within local networks.
• Lead and authorise submissions and bids with commercial and technical value.
• Act as Project Director for major projects and important commissions.
• Ensure SHEQ compliance and mentor succession planning.
