Job summary

United Infrastructure Group is seeking a Principal Design Lead to provide strategic technical leadership across multiple social infrastructure schemes. You will mentor Senior Design Managers, coordinate design activities, and ensure compliant, value-driven solutions while supporting the Head of Technical on standards and procedures.

You will lead bid-stage inputs, challenge design information, and drive risk mitigation across schemes, with hands-on involvement on complex projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience at senior design management across residential or mixed-use projects.
• Ability to manage bids, design input, and risk mitigation.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations and safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across multiple projects and mentor design managers.
• Lead bid-stage technical input and ensure compliant, buildable designs.
