Job summary

The North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA) invites applications for a Chief Operating Officer to strengthen delivery and strategic leadership across the organisation. Reporting to the Chief Executive, the COO will be a trusted partner turning priorities into coordinated action.

This role leads annual operating plans and oversees corporate functions, with a focus on governance, resource allocation and performance information.

Qualifications

• Proven senior leadership and delivery experience.
• Ability to influence across boundaries and secure collaboration.
• Experience translating priorities into actionable plans.
• Understanding of complex operating environments; sector knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to deliver the Corporate Plan and organisational commitments.
• Lead change, transformation and continuous improvement across the organisation.
• Own and drive annual operating plans with clear ownership, milestones and performance information.
• Strengthen governance, accountability and financial stewardship across corporate functions.
• Act as Deputy Accounting Officer when required, ensuring public accountability and prudent resource use.
