Job summary

Callen-Lenz is seeking a Business Development Campaign Lead to identify and develop opportunities within UAS Deep Effects, shaping the company’s defence portfolio and delivering consultancy across defence programmes.

You will build strategic plans, develop campaign plans, and manage a robust pipeline while engaging with Army HQ and defence networks. Travel nationally and internationally may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in defence, national security or government sectors (or service leaver with UAV/Future programmes).
• Strong understanding of defence procurement and strategy.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance in submissions.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across the business.
• Proactive, independent and owns tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term strategic plans aligned with Callen-Lenz's defence focus.
• Create actionable campaign plans to secure new defence contracts.
• Build a robust pipeline of opportunities aligned to strategy.
• Maintain relationships with key decision-makers across Army HQ and defence networks.
• Provide expert guidance on navigating UK Defence requirements and commercial landscapes.
• Oversee projects requiring technical understanding and strategic oversight.
• Achieve sales targets by securing new sales and expanding existing opportunities.
• Monitor industry trends and competitors influencing future requirements.
