Job summary

University of Greenwich is seeking a Strategic Planning Analyst (Student Numbers) to join the Strategic Planning, Insight & Improvement Directorate at Greenwich Campus. The role focuses on data analysis, reporting transformation, and supporting a Microsoft Fabric migration.

You will develop skills in Power BI, SQL, Python and Excel, while collaborating with Marketing, academic faculties and the Financial Planning team. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in data analysis using data processing or visualization tools.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and experience building reports in BI tools.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage senior stakeholders.
• Ability to automate processes and handle a varied workload.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain regular reports on recruitment and total student population.
• Perform in-depth analysis to identify trends across datasets on student numbers.
• Forecast student numbers to inform strategic and investment decisions.
• Build relationships with Marketing, faculties and Financial Planning teams.
• Support data transformation projects and data strategy implementations.
• Contribute to data champion networks and organizational data capability.
