Job summary

Skipton Building Society is seeking an experienced Enterprise/Data Architect to shape how data and AI enable our future. You’ll connect business strategy with capabilities, information, applications and technology, while guiding pragmatic transition roadmaps across the enterprise.

You’ll work across business and technology teams, exploring AI opportunities and establishing guardrails that drive customer value and strategic outcomes. Hybrid working with office presence three days a week.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in enterprise, data and solution architecture at a strategic level.
• Strong data architecture knowledge across information, platforms and governance.
• Curiosity and motivation to develop AI capabilities and adapt to evolving tech.

Responsibilities

• Shape enterprise-wide Data and AI architecture with principles and target states.
• Develop transition roadmaps aligning data/AI capabilities to business outcomes.
• Collaborate with business and technology leaders to expose dependencies and trade-offs.
• Provide strategic direction to architects and ensure alignment with enterprise goals.
