Job summary

Intelance is seeking a Principal Cyber Assurance Advisor in the UK. This is a senior part-time role aimed at professionals at the CISO, partner, or director level. The Advisor will oversee assurance strategies, quality check major deliverables, and contribute to proposals in the cyber assurance field.

This role requires 15+ years of experience in information security, with a proven track record in ISO 27001 and effective networking within the UK cyber community. Attractive terms and the opportunity for equity arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in information security or cyber risk, preferably at CISO or director level.
• Proven track record with ISO 27001 certifications and assurance programmes.
• Deep knowledge of ISO 27001:2022, IASME Cyber Assurance, NIST CSF, and SOC 2.
• Credibility at board level; comfortable challenging executives.
• Based in the UK with right to work.

Responsibilities

• Act as Principal Advisor on client engagements and governance forums.
• Shape assurance strategy involving ISO 27001 and cyber risk governance.
• Chair client committees and provide quality assurance over deliverables.
• Coach delivery leads and contribute to proposals requiring senior credibility.
• Represent Intelance at industry events and client briefings.
