Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland in Warrington is seeking a Credit Controller Specialist to manage customer credit risk and ensure timely debt collection. The role is hybrid, with three days per week in the Warrington Support Office, and sits within a FTSE100 company renowned for its equipment rental leadership.

You will review credit limits, monitor exposure, and support recovery actions while maintaining strong customer relationships and robust credit procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent administrative and organisational abilities with accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal.
• Experience in credit control or accounts receivable is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Cash collection - chase due and overdue payments via phone, email and written correspondence.
• Aged debt reduction and query resolution with sales and operations.
• Monitor customer credit exposure and review credit limits.
• Review customer financials and credit reports to assess risk.
• Place accounts on stop/hire suspension in line with policy.
• Support legal action debt recovery when required.
• Allocate cash receipts accurately and reconcile accounts.
• Ensure adherence to internal credit policies and procedures.
