Job summary

NielsenIQ seeks a dynamic and technically fluent attorney to join the Privacy, Product, & AI Legal team as Associate General Counsel - AI & Product Development. The role focuses on supporting enterprise-wide AI initiatives, governance, and product creation, while ensuring compliance with global AI and data governance laws.

You will partner with commercial teams on AI contracts and data oversight, enabling NIQ's AI-enabled offerings.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in product regulatory compliance and commercial contracting.
Experience advising on AI-related regulatory requirements (EU and global).
Ability to draft, review and negotiate AI/data governance contracts and licenses.
Ability to partner with sales, product, engineering, and compliance teams on AI initiatives.

Responsibilities

Advise on AI product development while ensuring compliance with global laws.
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts focused on AI, data governance, and privacy; protect NIQ data assets.
Develop governance frameworks for AI and product creation and provide legal guidance for client onboarding and product launches.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex tech requirements into legal terms and risk assessments.
Support internal policy development and training on AI, data governance, and regulatory compliance.
