WSP in the UK & Ireland is looking for a Senior Cost Manager to join their Health and Life Sciences Advisory team in Birmingham. This role will focus on delivering projects across healthcare sectors, providing comprehensive cost-management services from feasibility to completion.

The successful candidate will need a degree in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management and be chartered or near-chartered. Strong communication skills and experience with procurement strategies are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree‑level education or equivalent in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management.
• Chartered Professional in surveying with RICS or CIOB, or significant experience to attain chartership.
• Demonstrable track record of successful outcomes and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of projects across health and life sciences sectors.
• Prepare estimates and cost plans using the NRM‑based approach.
• Manage construction‑phase cost and prepare monthly cost reports.
