Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment is seeking a Corporate Solicitor to join a growing Corporate team. Applications welcomed from lawyers at 1+ year PQE through to Senior Associate and Legal Director, with scope to work on a varied portfolio of corporate matters for owner-managed companies, SMEs, and larger corporates.

Qualifications

• 1+ year PQE in corporate law.
• Experience advising on mergers and acquisitions.
• Ability to manage own matters and progress transactions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship-building abilities.
• Commercial awareness and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with colleagues.
• Interest in networking and business development.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on a broad range of corporate matters.
• Managing mergers and acquisitions transactions.
• Handling business sales and purchases from instruction through to completion.
• Advising on company formations, restructures and corporate reorganisations.
• Drafting and negotiating shareholder agreements and other corporate documentation.
• Providing advice on corporate governance and general company law matters.
• Conducting transactions efficiently while maintaining high standards of client service.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional contacts.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across other practice areas to deliver joined-up advice.
• Contributing to networking, marketing and business-development initiatives.
• Supporting junior colleagues and contributing to team development where appropriate to seniority.
