Job summary

BSI is seeking a Corporate Services Category Lead to shape and deliver procurement strategies across our operational and people-related service spend. The role focuses on demand management, standardisation and the use of supplier frameworks to improve value and the employee experience.

Based in Covent Garden, London, you will own multi-year category strategies, manage travel and expense programs, negotiate with suppliers, and advise stakeholders on requirements and policy-aligned approaches.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in category management across Corporate Services.
• Experience delivering complex sourcing across services like Travel, Learning, Workplace, HR and Office Supplies.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and shape requirements before commitment.
• Strong contracting know-how including statements of work and rate models.
• Analytical mindset to interpret spend data and build business cases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own multi-year category strategies and annual workplans for Corporate Services.
• Identify savings, cost avoidance and service improvements using spend and market insights.
• Shape sourcing pipelines and prioritise activity by value, risk and impact.
• Own global travel and expense strategy, travel management and corporate card programmes.
• Drive adoption of preferred channels, payment methods and policy-aligned behaviours.
• Advise stakeholders on demand, requirement definition and standardised statements of work.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing and negotiation using frameworks and rate cards.
• Manage supplier relationships, governance, KPIs and renewal/ dispute processes.
• Partner with Finance, HR and ops to align policies with controls and employee experience.
• Embed due diligence, audit-ready procurement practices and sustainable principles.
• Reduce off-contract spend through clear channels and stronger governance.
