Financial Times is seeking a Corporate Development & Investments Manager to support M&A, FT Ventures investments and strategic partnerships. You will lead valuation, due diligence and transaction coordination for opportunities across FT Group and Nikkei, interfacing with senior leadership.

The role requires strong financial modelling, buy-side experience, and excellent communication in a collaborative, high-profile environment.

Qualifikationen

• Strong core technical skills from active M&A transactions with financial modelling.
• At least 8 years experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, private equity, or corporate development.
• Buy-side experience is essential.
• Undergraduate degree in economics, business, finance, law or accounting.
• Highly numerate with experience in financial modelling, valuation analysis and business/commercial analysis.
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Suite; AI tools beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Sourcing corporate development opportunities – including acquisition and investment target sourcing.
• End-to-end M&A, FT Ventures investments and disposals – including valuation modelling, due diligence and negotiation.
• Leading financial and valuation analysis to support the business case and strategic goals.
• Leading portfolio review projects and reviewing investment proposals.
• Leading thematic research projects and portfolio management.
• Mentoring more junior team members.
• Preparing board papers and documentation for CFO, CEO, FT Board and Nikkei approvals.
