Job summary

Bradford Council is seeking a Contracts Officer to join the Procurement, Corporate and Strategic Finance Service. Based in Bradford, you will help manage contractual relationships from mobilisation through to exit, ensuring value and benefits are realized across the contract life.

You will contribute to evidence of delivery, use market intelligence, and assist in supplier assessment while supporting inclusive recruitment practices and equal opportunities across the council.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract management and governance.
• Understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Strategic Contract Manager to manage contractual relationships and providers through mobilisation, transition, delivery and exit of contracts.
• Support ensuring that contracts include arrangements to enable delivery of benefits and value across the contract life.
• Support evidence of effective delivery, efficient arrangements, market intelligence and supplier assessment.
