Job summary

National Grid Interconnectors is seeking a Contract Support Analyst to join the UJV Operations team. You’ll help manage operational supply chain contracts, support tender scopes, and flag commercial risks to keep projects on track.

You’ll coordinate contract administration, raise purchase orders, and support reporting and compliance across a matrix organisation, with hybrid working from Warwick or Fareham.

Qualifications

• Understanding of contract management principles and supplier relationships.
• Knowledge of commercial processes, compliance monitoring, and risk management.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyse information and produce clear reports.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of operational supply chain contracts and supplier relationships.
• Assist with development of scopes of work and tender requirements.
• Identify and elevate commercial and contractual risks.
• Support contract administration activities, including payment certificates and formal communications.
• Coordinate and support supply chain compliance audits.
• Assist with cost control activities and management reporting.
• Act as Technical Secretary for supplier and contract management meetings and documentation.
• Support administration of contract management systems and records.
• Raise and manage purchase orders and invoices.
• Maintain supply chain risk registers and mitigation actions.
• Support delivery plans, schedules, and programmes updates.
• Prepare reports and present information clearly to stakeholders.
