Strategic Content Assistant Manager (12-month FTC)

Base Location: KPMG Regional Offices

The content assistant manager is responsible for planning and producing high-profile strategic content that supports the firms commercial and reputational aims and enhances our brand in the market.

You will need to collaborate with stakeholders across Marketing, Corporate Affairs, and senior subject matter experts, to deliver content that aligns with the firm's strategy, and supports the brand positioning and corporate narrative.

You'll work closely with the Head of Content and the Content Managers to support the creation of content that translates complex business issues into compelling insights for our clients and stakeholders.

What will you be doing?

Landing the corporate narrative and strategy:

  • Support the delivery of content that aligns with the firm's strategy and reinforces the brand positioning and corporate narrative.
  • Work closely with the Head of Content and Content Managers to develop content that supports the defining arguments of the corporate narrative.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts from across the firm to develop strategic content - providing challenge and advice on what content will cut through with our audience groups and considering risk and reputational issues.
  • Work with stakeholder and channel teams to identify target audiences and tailor content to meet their needs and preferences.
  • Bring in best-practice industry and market trends to ensure KPMG's content is seen as best-in-class.

Content creation and planning:

  • Support the creation of high-quality content across all of the Strategic Campaigns & Content team's focus areas (AI and Tech, Sustainability and Business Insights) that is engaging and relevant for various platforms - including thought leadership, white papers, blogs, webpages, social media, digital events and video.
  • Managing and supporting the event logistics of The Insight Live flagship content series
  • Support the creation of content that positions the firm as providing trusted insights on the biggest macro issues impacting our clients
  • Create content that supports consideration and purchase intent, opening doors to good conversations with our clients
  • Work closely with the campaigns team to create content that supports campaign objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure content aligns with brand positioning, marketing, and communication goals.

Team development:

  • Contribute to a collaborative and creative work environment that encourages innovative thinking, constructive challenge, and continuous improvement.

Content performance analysis:

  • Leverage the analytics tools available to measure the performance and ROI of content initiatives.
  • Provide regular reports on content metrics - including engagement, traffic, and qualified leads.
  • Use data-driven insights to measure the success of the content and optimise future work.
  • Bring in best-practice industry insights on content to drive innovation.

SEO and content optimisation:

  • Work closely with the Digital team to implement SEO best practices to enhance content visibility and search engine rankings.
  • Ensure that content is optimised for different platforms and devices, to deliver a seamless user experience.

Cross-functional collaboration:

  • Work closely with Marketing, Corporate Affairs, Sales Enablement and BD teams to ensure content supports priority and growth targets of the business, as well as the firm's reputational aims.
  • Create positive stakeholder relationships with external agencies, freelancers, and suppliers as needed.

Brand consistency and compliance:

  • Ensure all content that is delivered from the team adheres to the company's brand voice, style, and messaging guidelines.
  • Champion best practice content delivery across all areas of the firm.
  • Knowledge of content design principles, accessibility standards, and UX design best practices.

What will you need to do it?

  • Experience in content, marketing, communications, or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of developing high quality content
  • A passion for content and creative storytelling.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills we'd love to see/Amazing Extras:

  • Knowledge of digital marketing, social media strategies, and content distribution.
  • Certification in relevant content, marketing or communications fields.
