Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Contaminant Hydrogeologist and Groundwater Modeller for its UK Energy and Resources Group. The role covers contaminated land, hydrogeology, groundwater modelling and ground engineering with opportunities to mentor colleagues and engage with clients and regulators.

You will work across a full project lifecycle from field design to reporting, with travel to UK offices and project sites. A degree in hydrogeology or related field with MSc/PhD is preferred and experience in

Qualifications

• Degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemistry or related discipline, with an MSc or PhD.

Responsibilities

• Design field investigations and groundwater monitoring.
• Interpret hydrogeological data and assess risk.
• Develop and apply conceptual site models for soil, groundwater, surface water and ground gas.
• Conduct groundwater flow and contaminant transport modelling and prepare technical reports.
