Our people are key to our success, and each role contributes to the Group's ongoing progress in communities around the world.

The role of Strategic Communications Officer sits within CU Corporate Services, a wholly owned sister company of Coventry University Group.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering the Group's strategic communications plan, utilizing various channels to reach and engage our priority audiences and stakeholders.

You will work alongside the Head of Strategic and Corporate Communications and colleagues in other communications roles and the Group Policy Unit to proactively deliver high-quality, tailored communications.

Knowledge of stakeholder mapping and identifying key groups relevant to the HE sector, both nationally and internationally, would be beneficial.

An informed, up-to-date knowledge of the UK media and political landscape is essential.

Additional knowledge of international political and media issues, especially in the Group's key markets, would be advantageous.

You should have a degree or equivalent experience in a discipline with a strong communications focus.

Ideally, you will have a relevant professional qualification (e.g., CIPR, CIM, or journalism) with a proven track record in planning, delivering, and evaluating high-profile communications campaigns.
