Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a senior commercial professional to lead bids, tenders, and contract negotiations within our Transport & Infrastructure portfolio in Glasgow. You will provide end‑to‑end commercial support, manage risk, and drive financial performance across projects.

You will partner with Business Units, Legal, and Finance to minimise risk, maximise value, and align outcomes with business objectives in a hybrid working environment across the UK and Ireland.

Qualifications

• Proven people and commercial management experience in a client‑facing environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of consultancy models.
• Leadership capability including delegation and accountability.
• Experience with NEC, FIDIC or COE contract forms.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial input to bids, tenders and contract negotiations.
• Provide end-to-end commercial support across project delivery.
• Manage commercial risk, opportunities, claims and disputes.
• Support change management and contractual compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and commercial culture.
