Job summary

Vanrath is seeking several Collections Coordinators to join a Belfast-based finance team on 12-month contracts. You will manage collections, follow up on outstanding balances and collaborate with Partners and in-market finance teams to reduce aged receivables.

You'll use Excel and standard Microsoft tools to produce collections reporting and support billing and receivables processes. The role requires strong communication with senior stakeholders, high organisation, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Previous collections/Accounts Receivable/finance support experience.
• Strong working knowledge of billing and receivables processes.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proven ability to follow up on outstanding debt and reduce aged receivables.
• Confidence communicating with senior stakeholders and handling sensitive payment conversations.
• High organisation and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage collections activity and follow-ups on outstanding balances to drive timely payment.
• Build and maintain relationships with Partners and in-market finance stakeholders for resolution.
• Help reduce aged receivables and minimise risk through consistent follow-up.
• Support reporting and systems side using Excel and standard Microsoft tools to produce collections information.
• Work flexibly to meet regional demands, including occasional shifted scheduling.
