Job summary

DEFRA seeks a Change and Benefits Manager to join the Change Directorate, supporting the Geospatial (Land) Programme. You will lead organisational change, define benefit realisation strategies, and work across Defra and its Arms Length Bodies to secure buy-in and ensure sustainable adoption of new ways of working.

You will collaborate with delivery partners, prepare the business for change, and help deliver Defra's priority Outcomes Framework.

Qualifications

• Experience leading organisational change programmes within a large public sector or equivalent environment.
• Ability to identify, quantify and track realised benefits across multiple workstreams.
• Proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and secure buy-in for major changes.
• Understanding of programme governance, risk management and benefits tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Change and Benefits workstream within the Geospatial Programme.
• Develop and implement benefit realisation plans, tracking value delivery across Defra and ALBs.
• Act as a bridge between the Programme Team and business users to ensure adoption.
• Provide leadership and assurance to ensure outcomes are achieved and embedded.
