Job summary

Marks Sattin Executive Search is recruiting a CFO for a PE-backed, multi-site hospitality group in the UK. The CFO will partner with the CEO and leadership team to drive financial strategy, planning, forecasting and governance across the group, ensuring robust controls and insightful reporting.

They will lead the finance function, enhance systems and processes, and contribute to strategic initiatives as the business progresses toward its exit event.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA).
• Proven CFO experience within a PE-backed environment.
• Experience in a multi-site, consumer-facing, operationally complex business.
• Strong commercial and operational finance background.
• Strong financial reporting, planning and control experience.
• Commercially astute with board/investor influencing ability.
• Experience in a fast-paced, evolving business.
• A hands-on, resilient and adaptable leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior financial leadership across the group, shaping strategy and governance.
• Oversee financial planning, forecasting, reporting and controls.
• Advise CEO and senior team; challenge strategic decisions with insight.
• Lead finance function development and system/process improvements.
• Engage with investors and prepare for future exit event.
