Job summary

Marks Sattin Executive Search is partnering with a PE-backed, multi-site hospitality group to recruit an experienced CFO. You will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to lead financial strategy, planning, forecasting and reporting, while ensuring governance and robust controls across the group.

You will influence at board and investor levels, drive financial performance, oversee systems and MIS, and guide strategic initiatives as the business prepares for a future exit.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA).
• Proven CFO within a PE-backed environment.
• Experience within a multi-site, consumer facing operationally complex business.
• Strong commercial and operational finance background.
• Strong financial reporting, planning, and control experience.
• Commercially astute, with the ability to influence at board and investor level.
• Experience operating in a fast-paced, evolving business.
• Hands-on, resilient, and adaptable leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior financial leadership across the group, including strategy, planning, forecasting and reporting.
• Act as a key adviser to the CEO, offering insight and challenge on commercial decisions.
• Ensure strong financial controls and governance across the business.
• Lead the finance function, develop systems, processes, reporting and MIS.
• Drive strategic initiatives and support governance through the next phase.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, investors and stakeholders ahead of an exit event.
