Job summary

Arla Foods Leeds Head Office is seeking a Category Development Manager to turn category strategies into clear retail execution plans that unlock sustainable growth. You will work with Sales, Marketing, Brand and the wider Category team to translate shopper and market insights into practical recommendations.

The ideal candidate has established experience in category or commercial roles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence decisions with data from Kantar, Nielsen and retailer

• Experience in category or commercial roles with proven track record.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with shopper insight focus.
• Ability to translate data into practical, actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop category strategies and execution tools across range, price, promotion and placement.
• Turn insights into actionable recommendations to drive category growth.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Brand and Category teams to influence decisions.
• Lead strategic projects such as channel research and shopper segmentation.
