Job summary

Ellison Institute of Technology (EIT) in Oxford is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to bridge business needs with technology delivery. You will define requirements, prioritise delivery, and ensure business value is realised across Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall projects.

You will own and manage product backlogs, collaborate with stakeholders and development teams, and support UAT planning and readiness activities. This hybrid role requires onsite presence in Oxford multiple days weekly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst.
• Experience delivering Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall projects.
• Proven expertise with Jira and Confluence
• Strong experience with business process modelling, gap analysis, and requirement traceability.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
• Ability to work independently and lead requirement efforts across multiple teams.
• Experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with experience managing product backlogs and prioritisation.
• Experience supporting UAT and business readiness activities.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse, document, and validate business requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions with stakeholders.
• Analyse current and future state processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support business process re‑engineering initiatives.
• Ensure solutions meet business requirements and strategic objectives.
• Own and manage product backlogs.
• Work closely with the Business Stakeholders to prioritise features, user stories, and enhancements based on business value.
• Work closely with development teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Operate effectively within Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall delivery environments.
• Collaborate with Delivery Leads to manage scope, risks, dependencies, and change requests.
• Ensure traceability from business requirements through to solution delivery and testing.
• Support UAT planning, execution, and sign‑off.
