Job summary

Bimplus, a well-established main contractor with a reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects, is seeking an experienced Bid Writer to join its growing pre-construction team in the North West. You will produce compelling tender submissions for projects ranging from £2m to £20m, communicating strengths, technical expertise and social value commitments.

You will work closely with the Bid Manager, Estimating and Pre-Construction teams to manage multiple deadlines, interpret client

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bid Writer within construction or the built environment.
• Strong ability to produce PQQ/SQ/tender submissions for main contractors.
• Excellent written communication and proofreading skills.
• Ability to manage multiple bids and tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality written responses for PQQs, SQs and tender submissions.
• Develop persuasive answers to quality questions, ensuring they meet client requirements and scoring criteria.
• Coordinate information from operational, commercial and technical teams to produce accurate submissions.
• Tailor content for projects across different sectors
• Maintain and develop the bid library, case studies and supporting documentation.
• Create content covering social value, sustainability, health & safety and quality management.
• Ensure submissions are professionally presented and completed within strict deadlines.
• Support continuous improvement of bid processes and submission quality.
