Job summary

ACEPP UK is a specialist engineering consultancy supporting the delivery of complex infrastructure projects. We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Executive to expand our client base and secure opportunities across infrastructure, engineering and construction sectors.

You will identify opportunities, build relationships with hiring managers and decision-makers, and work with the Talent Acquisition team to deliver exceptional talent solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, recruitment sales, account management or client acquisition.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Commercially driven with a proactive approach to generating opportunities.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to understand technical and engineering-based requirements.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within infrastructure, engineering, construction, nuclear, defence and energy sectors.
• Generate new client relationships through networking, market mapping, cold outreach and industry engagement.
• Secure meetings with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Negotiate and agree Terms of Business with new clients.
• Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of vacancies and project opportunities.
• Monitor market activity, upcoming projects, framework agreements and procurement opportunities.
• Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to fully brief vacancies and client requirements.
• Support recruitment delivery by providing detailed role information, project context and hiring expectations.
• Maintain regular contact with clients throughout the recruitment process.
• Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
• Represent ACEPP UK at industry events, exhibitions and networking functions.
• Accurately manage business development activity through the CRM system.
• Contribute to sales strategy, market intelligence and business growth initiatives.
