Job summary

WEST WALSALL ACADEMY, part of the E-ACT family, seeks an Associate Assistant Headteacher to support the Headteacher in strategic leadership. The postholder will take on a leadership responsibility to be negotiated on appointment, guiding teaching, learning and assessment across the academy.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent is required.
• Degree in related subject is required.
• Senior leadership qualification or willingness to work towards it.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for teaching, learning and assessment within their areas of responsibility.
• Ensure the Academy is fully compliant in safeguarding.
• Ensure curriculum implementation is consistent across faculties.
• Promote a culture of reflective and personalised learning for all students.
• Develop and embed strategies that support the Academy vision and raise teaching, learning and assessment quality.
