Join Our Team as a Project Manager – Shape the Long-Term Future of Water Resources Planning
Are you ready to make a lasting impact on how we shape and future-proof our water supplies? If so, we’re on the lookout for a driven Project Manager with a passion for planning for the long-term. In this position, you’ll play a pivotal role in tackling some of the biggest challenges facing our region’s water resources. From climate resilience to sustainable growth, you’ll help develop a plan that will deliver value for customers, protect the environment, and drive long-term change in the East of England.
Your actions will ensure the successful delivery of our Water Resources Management Plan (WRMP), a 25 year statutory plan that sets our water resources strategy from 2030 and feeds into our five-yearly business plan submission. Working alongside internal experts, consultants, and regulators, you’ll drive every stage of the planning cycle — ensuring milestones are hit, budgets are met, and outputs are top quality. To do this, you’ll need to build strong relationships across the business and beyond, helping to turn data, modelling, and environmental insights into compelling, forward-thinking plans that you can communicate to others.
If you're ready to step up to help deliver an outstanding WRMP at such an important time in our industry, we want to hear from you.

Project Management
Develop and maintain a detailed Project Management Plan for WRMP.

Evaluate risks, develop mitigation plans, and execute opportunities to enhance project outcomes.
Stakeholder & Consultant Management
Oversee scope development, proposals, tenders, and delivery of high-quality work packages.
Engage with a stakeholder map and manage communication, ensuring key stakeholders are informed and engaged.
Lead stakeholder meetings, facilitate decision-making, and drive reporting tool development (e.g. PowerBI, GIS).
Reporting
Produce regular progress reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
Present project updates at governance meetings and prepare non-technical reports and presentations for regulators.
Provide administrative support for meetings as needed.
