Job Description:

Role Overview: Reporting to the Senior Manager, Pricing and Portfolio Management, the Strategic Analytics Manager will shape the commercial management of the Vehicle Finance business, driving profitable growth through data-driven insights, portfolio optimization, and strategy development. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and a focus on customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead a commercial analytical framework for vehicle finance performance.
• Optimize portfolio profitability, balancing volume growth with returns.
• Analyze internal and external data to identify commercial opportunities.
• Work with sales and product teams to enhance competitiveness and product offerings.
• Maintain relationships with finance, credit risk, and analytics teams to ensure effective pricing models.
• Support the development of data infrastructure within Gateway.
• Mentor team members and collaborate across the Group.
• Represent the team in leadership discussions and decision-making.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience in management of Lending P&L, preferably in consumer or digital lending sectors.
• Strong quantitative, credit analytics, and portfolio management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Understanding of FCA/PRA regulated environments.
• Degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
