Survey Solutions Group is seeking an Acquisition & Integration Accountant to lead post-acquisition integration across finance, payroll, controls and reporting. You will work closely with the CFO and leadership team to embed Group standards and ensure acquisition risks are identified and managed.

The role suits a qualified accountant or strong finalist with a commercial mindset, detail orientation and experience in fast-paced acquisitive environments.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified accountant or strong finalist with commercial mindset.
• Experience in management accounts, balance sheets, working capital, cash, reconciliations, payroll and financial controls.
• Experience in small/mid-sized, multi-site or operational business environment.
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to produce clear analysis, trackers and reporting.
• Experience improving finance processes, controls, reporting or documentation.
• Excellent organisational skills, with ability to manage deadlines, stakeholders and priorities.
• Confidence communicating with senior stakeholders, business leaders and external advisers.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to get into the detail to resolve issues.

Aufgaben

• Lead post-acquisition integration plans with actions, owners, deadlines and risks.
• Translate due diligence findings into practical integration workstreams.
• Support integration into Group finance structures including management accounts and reporting.
• Support completion accounts, opening balances and acquisition accounting activities.
• Coordinate finance-owned payroll integration, data accuracy, reconciliations and cutovers.
• Review financial processes including P2P, billing, credit control, expenses and delegated authority.
• Identify control gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with integration of insurance, fleet, assets and related records.
• Monitor key financial and operational risks and reporting quality.
• Prepare integration updates and dashboards for CFO and leadership.
• Work with acquired businesses to implement consistent processes and reporting standards.
