  • Drafting and driving the annual business plan with Grocery and Retail partners.
  • Managing trading performance through trading plans and promotional activations.
  • Tracking and reviewing sales performance.

About this role

In the past 3 years, the Grocery Strategic Accounts team has become an essential part of our UK strategic objectives. We've forged impactful partnerships with leading brands, onboarding thousands of grocery sites nationwide. As a team member, you'll lead strategy for vital partners, collaborating closely with key stakeholders both internally and externally. Beyond account management, your role involves shaping overarching strategies and contributing insights for mutual growth.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Overall ownership of the day-to-day and strategic management of all aspects of several branded Grocery and/or Retail partner relationships.
  • Building functional and productive relationships with key Retailer counterparts.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders (including Delivery, Marketing, and Operations).
  • Accountability for performance reviews with Grocery and/or Retail partners.
  • Drafting and driving the annual business plan with Grocery and/or Retail partners.
  • Managing, owning, and influencing trading performance through trading plans, promotional activations, and Joint Business Plans.
  • Tracking and reviewing sales performance, meeting budget spend through forecasting.
  • Supporting strategic account executives across smaller brands.
What you will bring:
  • Proven Key Account Management experience, preferably in Grocery/Retail.
  • Strong understanding of the online Grocery UK market.
  • Experience analyzing data and managing trade performance.
  • Ability to grow accounts via joint business plans and upsell opportunities.
